SECURE Remote Mac Support
I can be your live, virtual Mac technician via the internet!

Using remote control software, I can establish a remote screen sharing session through a secure, encrypted connection that is totally controlled by you. While I am connected to your computer, I am in contact with you by telephone.

  • Cost Effective — I would much rather spend my time helping you with your computer than driving around in my car! Therefore, I offer all of my clients:

    • 10% discount off of on-site hourly rates for remote support

    • minimum call time of 1/2 hour, as opposed to 1 hour for on-site support

    • monthly memberships at a significantly reduced rate

    • Remote support also means no travel charges and faster response time.

    • Long distance telephone calls are included in my fees.

  • Available anywhere in North America, (no matter how far out in the boonies you are!) as long as you have a high speed or broadband internet connection

  • Effective & Efficient – While I do provide on-site technical support in the Olympia, Washington area, in my experience on 95% of Mac OS X technical support issues can be solved without me physically being in front of the computer. Many of my clients actually find remote support to be more efficient, particularly when I am providing instruction, because they have full access to the computer and are focused on the screen instead of me.

  • Zero Configuration (Even through firewalls and routers!). Download our support utility, double-click on the installer, and we are ready to go. It really is that simple!

  • FREE Client Software – Unlike per user screen sharing software like Timbuktu or (or PC Anywhere for Windows), our software is totally free to the end user.

  • Extremely Safe and Secure — The remote screen sharing technology I user features a number of safeguards to ensure the security of my clients:

    • Screen sharing can only be initiated by the customer.

    • The customer has the ability to see everything that is happening on their computer, and always has the ability to control their mouse and keyboard and/or disconnect me from their computer.

    • The remote connection is made using a one-time use authorization code. As soon as the customer disconnects, I cannot reconnect without a new code initiated by the customer.

    • The connection takes place using a secure "SSH Tunnel" using "Blowfish" encryption technology…in English, this means our remote connection uses even more secure technology than financial institutions use to transfer information.
